Thanksgiving

Not sure what is going on?
The holiday started off with Cole's school having a Thanksgiving lunch at his school. They did a pot luck. It was really nice. KK was even able to come and eat lunch with Cole.
I have to admit I did not do a very good job of taking pictures for Thanksgiving...Oops! Bad mommy.

Going back to class with my friend Annabelle
On Thanksgiving day we went to Centerville, where my dads aunt June lives, my great aunt and Cole's great great Aunt :) I have grown up my whole life going to June and Petsy's for Thanksgiving. It was nice for everyone to see him from "the country" as I have always called it.
Outside in Centerville playing with daddy

On Friday we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Coggin side of the family and watched the Iron Bowl. The Herren's came from Berry, AL, Greg and Caroline came from Florence, AL, and Paw Paw Wilb came from Caraway, AR to be with us for the day. Uncle Ben is here is town so he was here, but exhausted since he had worked Black Friday at Old Navy. Aunt Tisha got sick and was not able to be there. Of course all the cousins were there as well. We had a really nice time, even though Arkansas did not beat LSU.

The next day we put up the Christmas decorations. Oh boy! Cole's first Christmas. We can't wait!

Cole hit a milestone the day before Thanksgiving...he crawled!!! Our big boy is just going everywhere now. I can hardly believe that my baby is crawling. You definitely cannot take your eyes off him now.

Lucky 7's and Fall

Let's see what I can do now
Tag, found it!

Today Cole is 7 months and Papa is 70! So it is the Lucky 7's for us.
Cole is just getting to be such a big boy! He loves people, smiling, "talking", jumping, shadows and grabbing. Yes grabbing! Anything that is close to him he is grabbing, so watch out. He must check it all out :) Everything is so new to him. I LOVE watching his face as he discovers something new. Shadows are something that are pretty funny to watch too! He looks at it and just laughs, then he gets serious and really concentrates on the shadow to see what it is, then he will try to touch or grab the shadow. The other night he was "pawing" at his own shadow when I was feeding him dinner. I think he was part cat that night. Casey and I were laughing so hard. He could not figure it out. It was pretty priceless. Cole is also a fan of tags. If it has a tag on it he will find it and play with it and/or put it in his mouth. We have noticed him with toys and  blankets especially always finding the tag. It will keep him occupied for quit a while sometimes. He is still not crawling, but he rocks and scoots all over the place. He has also started this new things where he gets up all on fours in a plank like position. Not sure what that is all about, but he is pretty funny doing it. Well, according to the pediatrician last month this is the month Cole will crawl and 10 1/2 months he will walk. Guess we will see. I am not sure if I am ready for all that yet? :) He sits up really well now. He started sitting up right before he turned 6 months, but it would only be for a short time. He sits and plays now for quit a while sitting up like a big boy. He also sits in the shopping cart at the store. He looks like such a big boy.
It has been so beautiful here lately with all the fall leaves and colors. We were going for a family walk last weekend and took some pictures.

My new toboggan. ROAR!!

Ok, so I mentioned last month that I thought these pictures were going to get harder and harder to take, boy was I right! Cole was such a little goober while trying to get a picture. I still do not think I got one I love, but he was sure making me laugh. He was grabbing the bear, messing with the sticker on his onesie, trying to stand up, just everywhere :)
why are you always in the picture too?
Mom, can I stand like this?

Ok, so what are we doing exactly?
Alright, I will do it!

Is this the smile you want mom?

Cole's 1st Halloween

Being a big boy!
...was so cute and so much fun! I found this cute pumpkin outfit at Target. Casey was not a huge fan of it. 1. because it is orange (not a UT fan-dislikes them very much :) and 2. he said he looked like a girl in it (no he didn't!). They had a trick-treating day at school, Thursday October 27, where they went around to the church offices and got treats! It was so cute. Although Cole couldn't eat anything quit yet, he will soon. They gave the babies puffs and gerber snacks. Apparently it took a while to make it around to all the offices and it cut into Cole's nap and eating. They were laughing and calling him the angry pumpkin. I took a picture of the little book that his teacher, Mrs. Darlene made him. In the book she put his angry pumpkin pictures. I had to show off my cute little pumpkin as well though.
